Balcony sunshade without drilling
Sun on your balcony is lovely, but sometimes you just want shade. Or some privacy when the sun is low. Drilling is often not allowed in a rented home or by the homeowners' association. With the Flexframe and a Coolfit roller blind, you can have sun protection in no time, without drilling a single hole.
How does it work?
The Flexframe consists of 2 poles with an intermediate arm. You clamp the poles between the balcony floor and the ceiling (the underside of the balcony above). You hang a Coolfit roller blind from the intermediate arm, which you can roll up and down whenever you want.
What do you need?
- Flexframe: the clamping frame. Please note: the roller blind is not included.
- A Coolfit roller blind in your choice of color: anthracite, sand, off-white, black, or greige. The roller blinds are 2.40 m high. For the Flexframe, you can choose a width from 1.48 m (1.48 / 1.98 / 2.48 / 2.96 m).
- Wider balcony? With the Flexframe connector, you can place multiple frames side by side.

Why choose Coolfit?
- Protects against 90 to 95% of harmful UV rays.
- Blocks low-lying sun and glare and provides extra privacy.
- Mold-resistant, dirt-repellent, and easy to clean.
- Mounting hardware for the roller blind is included in the package.
Will it fit my balcony?
You need a solid floor and a ceiling above your balcony to clamp the frame between. Measure the height from floor to ceiling and the width you want to shade. Not sure? Send us a photo with the dimensions via customer service, and we'll help you figure it out.
