With the Balcony Bar, you can instantly transform your everyday balcony into a pleasant home workspace, a green windowsill, or a cozy bar. The Balcony Bar (90 x 30 cm) is delivered as a convenient package and consists of a set of boards (4 pieces), a bracket set, and mounting hardware. We have developed several types of bracket sets, allowing the Balcony Bar to fit almost any balcony.
The Balcony Bar is placed in the middle of the railing, extending approximately 15 cm on each side. The raised edge helps prevent objects from falling off as much as possible, but always exercise caution. You can also choose to enclose the ends of the Balcony Bar with Balcony Bar side panels.
If you have a long balcony, you can mount multiple Balcony Bars next to each other to create an elongated bar. Super cozy!
Variation: the Balcony Bar is also available in a mini version.
Material properties
Bamboo is the fastest-growing plant on earth because of its fibers. Bamboo is therefore highly environmentally friendly compared to other types of wood. Thanks to new technologies, bamboo has been hailed as one of the most practical building materials for outdoor furniture. The type of bamboo we use for our Bamboo Balcony Bar is a composite of bamboo, wax, and recycled plastic. This makes the Bamboo Balcony Bar a highly durable product that requires little maintenance.
Choose your railing
The Straight Low Balcony Bar is ideal for attaching to straight railings. By tightening the wing nuts, you clamp the Balcony Bar securely to your railing. The maximum dimensions of the railing beam to which the Balcony Bar can be attached are 0 - 16.5 cm wide and 0 - 5.5 cm high.
The Straight High Balcony Bar is ideal for attaching to straight railings. By tightening the wing nuts, you clamp the Balcony Bar securely to your railing. The maximum dimensions of the railing beam to which the Balcony Bar can be attached are 0 - 16.5 cm wide and 5.5 - 13 cm high.
Many new-build apartments now have glass balcony railings. This construction features sliding brackets into which pins can be tightened using threads. The plastic caps clamp the glass panel firmly in place. The railing can be between 1 cm and 6 cm wide.
The construction for round railings works slightly differently than the straight model. This construction is attached to the railing. It is flexible and can be attached to railings with a diameter of 3.5 cm (circumference approx. 11 cm) up to 8 cm (circumference approx. 25 cm). The circumference of the railing is easy to measure by wrapping a piece of paper around the railing and then measuring it.
A mounting option is also available for low walls. In this construction, the low wall is clamped between 2 brackets. The construction is suitable for low walls with a width of 7 to 12.5 cm. The sides of the low wall must be equal.
